Weighted Moving Average
The Weighted Moving Average function is similar in operation to the Simple Average except that the values at the end of the selected period are given more significance than those at the beginning of the period.
To apply a Weighted Moving Average to a graph:

Click on the Add Average icon

The Moving Average dialog box will be displayed

Select Weighted

Select the required period used in the average by using the scroll bar on the Daily Data field.

Click on OK and the graph will re-draw with the calculated moving average in place.
